Thursday 14-Nov-19 Ezekiel 33-35; Ps 130

Ezekiel 33: As watchman of Israel, what was Ezekiel’s responsibility?

Ezekiel 34: To who was Ezekiel called to prophesy?  Who will God provide to shepherd the sheep?

Ezekiel 35: What did Mount Seir represent and what did it do wrong?

Ezekiel 33: Ezekiel was responsible for sounding the trumpet when the wrath of the Lord was coming – if he failed to do this, he would die.

Ezekiel 34: Ezekiel prophesied to the shepherds (pastors) of Israel, because they were not caring for their sheep – they were only concerned about their own welfare.  God himself will be the shepherd for the people.

Ezekiel 35: Mount Seir is Edom and they cherished perpetual enmity and gave over the people of Israel to the power of the sword at the time of their calamity
