Exodus 21: If a servant did not want to leave his master after the seventh year, what was done to him?

Exodus 22: Why was Israel not to mistreat strangers in their land?

Who are we not to revile or curse?

Matthew 25: What teaching do these two parables illustrate?

Journal Prompt: What talents has the Master given you?  How will you respond when He asks for an accounting of your stewardship of those talents?

Answers

Exodus 21:  His ear was pierced to show he would serve his master forever.

Exodus 22:Because they were strangers in a land before also, they must show mercy and compassion. God and rulers or judges over us.

Matthew 25: The parables of the ten virgins and the talents illustrate the need to be ready when Jesus returns.  We need to live our lives in a way that takes into consider daily the final judgment.
