Answers:

Daniel 7:  The dream occurred during the first  year of the reign of King Belshazaar (so this is not chronological).  The vision was about a great beast which dominated and was eventually killed.

Daniel 8:  This vision occurred during the third year that Belshazaar was on the throne. The archangel, Michael, explained this vision to Daniel. The ram with the two horns, these are the kings of Media and Persia. And the goat is the king of Greece. And the great horn between his eyes is the first king.
