Saturday 3-August Isaiah 14; Ps 94; Colossians 4

Isaiah 14:  What will happen to Israel? Win what year did Isaiah prophesy

Colossians 4: What specifically did Paul ask the Colossians to pray for his ministry?

Journal Prompt: In Colossians 4:6, Paul writes: “Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person.”  How can you work towards this goal of having your speech gracious and seasoned with salt?

Answers:

Isaiah 14:  Israel will be restored and chosen once again by God.  They will taunt their former oppressors.

Isaiah prophesied these events during the year King Ahaz died.

Colossians 4:  He asked them to pray that God would open the door for him to declare the gospel – clearly!  May we ask God the same thing!
