Journal Prompt: In Exodus 19 we read about the need for the people to purify themselves for three days in order for them to experience God’s presence. Write about your perception about God’s holiness.
Answers:
Exodus 19: The people had three days to purify themselves – to wash their garments and to not even go near women. And this was just to witness God’s presence (not to see God) in the form of a thick cloud, an earthquake and lightning and thunder.
Exodus 20: After giving Moses the ten commandments, Moses relayed God’s message to NOT make any idols of silver or gold.
Proverbs 12: People who do not accept criticism are stupid.
Matthew 24:: Jesus these events will happen before He returns.
