Journal Prompt: Today’s reading is the triumphant finale to the tribulation. Write about how you felt as you read the end of Revelation 19.
Answers:
Jeremiah 45: It seems Baruch was feeling sorry for himself and seeking great things for himself and God reprimanded him. However, he then promised Baruch that if he would stop seeking things for himself, He would give him his life as a prize – in other words, God would let him live.
Jeremiah 46: Jeremiah prophesied very specifically about the impending attack by King Nebuchadnezzar and the Babylonias. He prophesied that God would protect the Israelites – however they would suffer punishment.
Revelation 19: A multitude in heaven were rejoicing over the fall of Babylon, as well as the 24 elders and the four living creatures who surround the throne and a voice from the throne. Jesus was the rider on the horse that captured the beast and the false prophet and threw them into the fiery lake of burning sulfur.
