Jeremiah 21:  What did King Zedekiah send his priests to ask Jeremiah? What was the Lord’s answer?

Revelation 7:  What was the mission of the fifth angel? Who were the multitude in white robes?

Answers:

Jeremiah 21:  King Zedekiah wanted to know if the Lord would protect them from the attack of Nebuchadnezzar. The Lord told him that he would use their own weapons against them and that God himself would fight against him.

Jeremiah 22:  Jeremiah had answered the priests when they sought him to hear what the Lord would say, but now Jeremiah went directly to the palace of the king to give him one last chance to repent and to begin to honor God and to turn back the coming wrath.  He told the king that if he failed to obey God that all the kings in the line of succession would be destroyed.

Revelation 7: The fifth angel came to put a seal on the foreheads of God’s servants. The multitude in white robes were saints who endured the tribulation and whose robes were washed by the blood of the Lamb.
