Daniel 2: What language did the Chaldeans speak to the King? Whose lives did Daniel save and how?
Answers
Daniel 1: Daniel was one of the exiles in the royal family or of the nobility who was ‘chosen’, “youths without blemish, of good appearance and skillful in all wisdom, endowed with knowledge, understanding learning, and competent to stand in the king’s palace, and to teach them the literature and language of the Chaldeans”. He was faithful to God and refused to eat from the kings’ table so as not to defile himself. He was wise and was endowed with the gift from God to interpret dreams and visions.
Daniel 2: The Chaldeans spoke Aramaic to the King? Daniel saved the lives of the Chaldeans by telling the king what the dream was and what it meant.
