Answers:
1 Kings 9: The Lord promised to consecrate the Temple that Solomon built ‘My eyes and my heart will be there for all time.’ And “you shall not lack a man on the throne of Israel.”
The catch was that Solomon was to walk in the ways of the Lord, follow His commandments and remain faithful.
1 Kings 10: The Queen of Sheba came because she had heard of Solomon’s great wisdom. She brought him 120 talents[f] of gold, and a very great quantity of spices and precious stones. He gave her “all that she desired, whatever she asked: (v. 13)
Job 6: Job hoped God would relieve him of his misery and take his life.
Romans 2: We get eternal life “by patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and immortality.” “glory and honor and peace for everyone who does good” (v. 6-10)
