Genesis 6: What was wrong with mankind during Noah’s time?

Genesis 7:  How many animals of each species entered the ark?

Genesis 8:  How long did Noah and family remain on the ark? (This is a complicated one – you might want to wait for the answer!) What was Noah’s first act after leaving the ark?

Proverbs 1: Who wrote most of the proverbs? What do the wise and those of understanding do? What will produce knowledge in someone? What will happen if we refuse wisdom?

Matthew 2: How many wise men came and why did they want to find Jesus? Where was Jesus when the wise men came?

Journal Prompt:  I plan to meet my spiritual resolutions this year by doing this . . .

ANSWERS
Genesis 5: Methuselah was the son of Enoch and the father of Lamech.  He is the oldest person in the Bible.  (Methuselah lived after he fathered Lamech 782 years and had other sons and daughters. 27 Thus all the days of Methuselah were 969 years, and he died.)

Genesis 6: Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.  (v 5-6)

Genesis 7: Insofar as the animals are concerned, it’s interesting to note that 14 of each ‘clean’ species was taken onto the ark (seven pairs of all clean animals,[a] the male and his mate, and a pair of the animals that are not clean, the male and his mate 7:2.)

Genesis 8:  Noah’s first act was to build an altar and worship God.

Proverbs 1: Solomon wrote most of the proverbs. “The wise will hear and increase in learning and also seek wise counsel.”

Matthew 2:  It doesn’t say how many wise men there were, but they told Herod they were seeking the king of the Jews and wanted to worship Him. Jesus and Mary were in a house – most likely in Bethlehem – that’s where Herod directed them after consulting with the the chief priests and scribes as to where the messiah was to be born. (v. 4); They ended up in Nazareth, because they fled to Egypt when prompted by a dream of Joseph and in another dream, they returned but they didn’t return to Bethlehem because Archaeleus was the ruler.
