Tuesday, February 18: Exodus 38-40; Hebrews 1
Exodus 38-40:(I know yesterday’s question from chapter 37 actually pertained to chapter 38 – I got ahead of myself!)
What happened after the Tabernacle was set up? What could the Israelites always see as a sign of God’s presence?
Hebrews 1: How has and how does God communicate with His people? What does God say about Jesus and His superiority?
Journal Prompt: What does it mean that Jesus sustains all things? What impact should it have on our lives knowing that Jesus actually upholds everything by His power?
ANSWERS
Exodus 38-40: When the Tabernacle was all set up, the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle and Moses could not enter. The Israelites could always see God’s presence in the cloud that was over the tabernacle during the day and the fire that was in the cloud at night.
Hebrews 1: In the past (Old Testament) God communicated through the prophets. God communicates through His son Jesus. (and through the Bible.)
v. 5: God says Jesus is His son.
v. 6: Angels will worship Him
v. 8: His throne lasts forever and He will bring justice
v. 10 He lai the foundations of earth and heaven
v. 13: He sits at God’s right hand
