Mark 6:  What happened to John the Baptist?  What did Jesus marvel about?  What was Herod’s fear? What miracles did Jesus perform in thsi chapter?

Journal  prompt: Jesus said, ” A prophet is not without honor, except in his hometown and among his relatives and in his own household.”  What about you and your (and my) family and extended family?

Answers:

Mark 6:  John the Baptist was beheaded.  Jesus marveled at their unbelief. Herod thought John the Baptist, who he beheaded, had risen from the dead.
