Proverbs 2: How do we understand the fear of the Lord and receive knowledge?

Journal Prompt: How do you seek wisdom? What is the difference between wisdom and knowledge?

Answers:

1 Kings 4: Solomon’s needs were provided for by each of the twelve officers.  Each officer was responsible for one month of provision each year.  Ben-hur was the officer from the territory of Ephraim. Ben-abinadab  Naphath-dor married Taphath and Ahimaaz, in Naphtali married Basemath.

Proverbs 1: The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge.

Proverbs 2: We are to ask for insight and to seek wisdom as if it were a precious treasure.

Romans 9: The Gentiles who were saved came to God through faith, receiving His righteousness. The Jews who seem to be cast off from God tried to justify themselves before God by performing works according to the law of righteousness.
