ANSWERS
Exodus 28: The onyx stones are engraved with the names of the twelve sons of Jacob – the twelve tribes of Israel. The priest is to wear a breast piece (of righteousness), an ephod of judgment, a robe, a tunic a turban and a sash. The bells on the hem of the garment are there so he will not die when he is in the holy of holies.
Exodus 29: The priests were to go through a seven-day process of washing, dressing, presenting sacrifices, sprinkling the blood on their garments, etc.
Exodus 30: The recipe includes myrrh, cinnamon, calamus, cassia, and olive oil. If you make this and use it for any other purpose, you will be cut off from the people.
Exodus 31: Bezalel and Ohiliah are master craftsmen who will make the furnishings of the tent. The Lord reminds them of the Sabbath command – it is a sign – it is holy. if anyone works on the Sabbath they will be put to death.
Philippians 2: The mindset of Christ is that he didn’t take advantage of His position, of who He was – he humbled himself and became a man and out of obedience He died on the cross. The result was that He was exalted to the highest place and every knee shall bow at his name of heaven and in earth.
