What’s Love God to Do With It?

When previously asked by the Pharisees what the greatest commandment was, Jesus responded that it was love – Love your God with your heart, mind and souls, and love your neighbor as yourself. But hours before His arrest and knowing His death is imminent, He shares this new commandment with His disciples: love others as I have loved you. The church should be characterized by love as Jesus said, “they will know you are my disciples by how you love one another.”
