Exodus 5: As Moses expected, Pharaoh did not give him any credence – and he increased the burden upon the Hebrew slaves by no longer providing them with straw to make bricks. The Hebrews blamed Moses.
Exodus 6: God told Moses to return to Pharaoh with the same message. Moses told God that even the Hebrews wouldn’t listen to him, how much less the Pharaoh. He felt that since he was uncircumcised, Pharaoh would listen to him even less.
Matthew 17: Peter asked why the scribes said Elijah was to come before the Messiah. Jesus answered that Elijah had come – and the disciples believed it to be John the Baptist.
Jesus healed a boy who was possessed by a demon and he produced a coin out of a fish.
