Saturday 6-April Joshua 17-18; Ps 42; John 12

Joshua 17-18: Where was the tabernacle set up?

John 12: Who did the chief priests plan to kill? What was Jesus’ response to Andrew and Philip’s news that there were Greeks who came to see Him? Why did some people believe Jesus but not let others know?

Journal Prompt: How can we be like those who believe in Jesus yet choose not to confess Him in all situations? Pray for boldness to share His love with everyone.

Answers:

Joshua 17-18: The tabernacle was set up in Shiloh.

John 12: The chief priests planned to kill Lazarus, “because on account of him many of the Jews were going away and believing in Jesus.” (v. 12).  When Andrew and Philip told Jesus there were Greeks who wanted to see Him, Jesus said His hour had come.

Many even of the authorities believed in him, but for fear of the Pharisees they did not confess it, so that they would not be put out of the synagogue; for they loved the glory that comes from man more than the glory that comes from God. (verses 42-43)
