Esther 3: What made Haman so mad and what was his plot?

Esther 4: What was Esther’s plan after deciding to go in and see the King on behalf of the Jews?

Galatians 3: How did the Old Testament predict that the Gentiles would be justified? What was the purpose of the Law?

Journal Prompt: When asking God for provision in your life, have you fasted or enlisted the fasting support of others?  Why or why not?

Answers:

Esther 3:  Haman was angry because Mordecai refused to bow down before him so he planned to kill all the Jews in all the provinces.

Esther 4: Esther called for a 3-day fast (no food or drink whatsoever) for the Jews in Susa as well as her ladies.

Galatians 3:  The Scripture (Old Testament), foreseeing that God would justify[c] the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, “In you shall all the nations be blessed.” V. 8

“the Law was our guardian until Christ came, in order that we might be justified by faith.” (v. 24)
