It’s hard to believe it is August! Where has the time gone?
Today, I listened to Proverbs in the Message version at biblegateway.com – it is such an interesting paraphrase.
We read the final chapter of Galatians and Paul’s admonitions and encouragement:
And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap (a harvest), if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith. Galatians 6:9-10
There are times when we get a little weary from serving. There are times when we get a little frustrated when we don’t see the results we want. There are times we feel helpless when our prayers seem to go unanswered. These verses from Galatians remind us that our service is worthwhile, our efforts will bear fruit and our prayers are being answered! Persevere! Heavenly Father, let this encouragement motivate us to keep up the good fight and hold fast to our faith and the secure knowledge of Your salvation!
Have a blessed Monday keeping your eyes fixed upon Him!
