1 Chronicles 28-29; Job 19; 1 Corinthians 12

1 Chronicles 28 & 29:  How was the treasury enriched during this time of final preparation before building the Temple? 

1 Corinthians  12: Who receives the manifestations of the Spirit and for what purpose?  How does this chapter end?

From 1 Chronicles 28-29: Note the promises God made and the exhortations of King David concerning Solomon’s reign.  What is to be required of Solomon?  What is required of you?

From 1^st Corinthians 12: What gift (manifestation of the Spirit) has the Holy Spirit given you?

Answers:

1 Chronicles 28 & 29: David gave a great deal of his personal wealth for the building of the Temple and then the Israelites also contributed to the Temple.  (Chapter 29:2-9)

1 Corinthians12:  Every believe receives the manifestations of the Spirit for the common good.  The chapter ends by letting us know that there is a more excellent way (than the manifestations given by the Spirit.)
