Interdenominational Worship Sundays at 10am

About us:

Second Union Church

is an interdenominational, English speaking church in San Juan, Puerto Rico founded in 1964. The church has established an active presence in the Guaynabo-San Juan Puerto Rico community, serving our Lord and striving to bring glory to His name through worship, study, events and community outreach ministries.  Our community is blessed with a vast diversity of cultural and denominational backgrounds, ages and traditions with over 20 different denominations represented within our membership. We celebrate Sunday worship at 10:00 a.m.  with children, choirs and lay participation as a lively body of Christ. Rooted in the Word of God, we seek to support and strengthen each other in our faith through prayer, Bible study, small groups, and programs focused on the love and grace of Jesus as we serve His kingdom.

Second Union Church’s English language worship service is on Sundays at 10am. For more information or directions, call 787-720-4423. Our office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. To 4:30 p.m.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.  Colossians 3:16

What is a Union Church?

The Union churches are a loosely linked community of over 120 English speaking churches located in primarily non-English speaking locations around the world. In each locale, they welcome the whole community while worshiping in English.

Second Union Church: Your Home in Puerto Rico

Second Union Church of San Juan is a vibrant church family whose focus is to grow in the knowledge and love of Jesus Christ. We gather at 10am to worship God in Spirit and in Truth. You will find Bible teaching, prayer, and praise and worship with a blend of traditional and contemporary music. Our pastor, Reverend Robert Zoba, has been leading our congregation for almost 15 years and his preaching offers solid Bible truths with pertinent life application.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God. It is, therefore, the ultimate authority in all matters of faith and practice. We believe that there is only one, true God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

We believe that a lost and sinful humanity must be saved, and that our only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. We believe in and practice the holy ordinance of water baptism, and the regular celebration of Holy Communion as commanded by our Lord.

We believe in the present ministry and baptism of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the unsaved; and a final judgment before a holy and righteous God who will exercise both justice and mercy toward all.

We believe in the spiritual unity of all who believe in Jesus Christ as the unique Lord and Savior of humanity.

We believe in the present ministry and baptism of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the unsaved; those that are saved into the resurrection of life and those that are unsaved into the resurrection of damnation.
