Interdenominational Worship Sundays at 10am

Day 25

Here’s how I started my day this morning, praying from Psalm 25:4-5, 7, 11, 16a & 18b. (Maybe after you read it, you can pray it too). “Show me Your ways, teach me Your paths. (THANK YOU that You are and will continue to do so as I seek You) for You are God, my Savior and my hope is in You all day long…Remember no the sins of my youth (middle age and current!) and my rebellious ways. For the sake of Your Name, O LORD, forgive my iniquity through it is great. Turn to me an be gracious to me… take away all my sins.” Go ahead, make it your prayer too. (I’ll wait for you!)

I love the promise of Psalm 25:14, “The LORD confides in those who fear Him. He makes His covenant known to them.” I wrote in my journal, “I fear You Lord; confide in me!”

I also love the words of Psalm 55:22 “Cast you cares on the LORD and He will sustain you. He will never let the righteous fall.” Amen! What an invitation – to cast all our cares on Him. If you are bowed down with cares, concerns, anxiety why not consciously “cast them upon Him” right now! You’ll be glad you did!

Psalm 85:8 “I will listen to what God the LORD will say. He promises peace to His people, His saints.” “His people, His saints” – that’s US! Peace – a-h-h-h-h-h! That is his promise for you today.

Psalm 145:13b “The LORD is faithful to all His promises.” YES! And one of those promises is what we just read in Psalm 85:8 – PEACE!

I’ll close with this promise from Psalm 145:14, “The LORD upholds all those who fall and lifts up all who are bowed down.” Amen!

What great words from the scriptures today, eh? It’s Thursday, only 3 more days till we gather together for corporate worship. Remember the words of Exodus 20:24b? “Wherever I cause my Name to be honored, I will come to you and bless you.” The name we are “honoring” this Sunday is El-Shaddai, God Almighty. Here’s a preview of one of the songs we will offer up to Him. Don’t miss out!
