Journal Prompt: The author lists several faith actions in 13:1-6 that believers are called to live by. Which ones do you do a good job at?
Numbers 6: Those taking a Nazirite view were not to drink wine or anything made from grapes, they were not to cut their har, and they were not to go near a dead body.
The priestly blessing: The Lord bless you and keep you, the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace. (v. 24-26)
Numbers 7: All of the temple furnishings were transported with carts and oxen, except for the holy things which had to be carried by the Kohathites.
Hebrews 13: The sacrifice of prayer, praise, of doing good works, and giving thanks. These are offerings that please God.
God makes us fully ready for every good work and His will through His Spirit. He chastens us to correct us and reveals His wisdom when we seek it.
