Lamentations 4: Edom would suffer the Lord’s punishment as well.
Lamentations 5: The prophet asks the Lord for mercy and not to forget His people – to turn them back and restore them unless He has completely rejected His people.
Ezekiel 1: It was the fourth year of Jehoiachin’s reign – he was 30 years old. He saw a vision of heaven – the creatures surrounding the throne — and the throne of God and His glory.
Ezekiel 2: Ezekiel was responsible to give God’s word to the people. If he did not, he would be responsible for their sin and he would die. He was instructed to eat a scroll on which waswritten words of lamentation and woe. His instructions were to go to were to go to his house where he would be bound and God would make him unable to speak.
