Isaiah 55:With what should we satisfy ourselves?  When can the Lord be found?

1 Peter 1:  How do we purify our souls?

Journal Prompt: Describe how a living hope is a blessing in your life. What is the living hope based on? How does this living hope compare to other things that people hope in?

Answers:

Isaiah 55:We should satisfy ourselves with spiritual righteousness in God and the blessings that come from Him.
The Lord is found when are hearts are right, when we forsake wickedness and unrighteousness. Otherwise, God will turn His face from us.

1 Peter 1: We purify our souls by obeying the truth – the principles of God.
