Isaiah 47: Who was God going to bring down? Why?

Hebrews 11: When will those of the faith who have died receive the promise?

Journal Prompt: Write down one or two words that are used to describe roles that Jesus plays when it comes to our faith. Identify and attempt to explain these two words.

Answers:

Isaiah 47: God would bring down The Chaldeans and the Babylonians because they were cruel to His people, Israel.

Hebrews 11: They will receive the promise of the homeland, the rest, and eternal life with us. (Their souls are asleep, waiting for the day of resurrection.)
