Isaiah 43: Why did God blot out the transgressions of the people?

Hebrews 7:  How did the Law not make anything perfect? Why is the covenant through Jesus the better one?

Journal Prompt: Why is it necessary for us to have a great high priest? (from Hebrews 7)

Isaiah 43: God simply loved Israel and as a result overlooked many of their sins.

Answers:

Hebrews 7: The law could not make complete reconciliation to God nor could it change their hearts.

Jesus lives and His priesthood is forever, a continual sacrifice for our sins.
