Leviticus 23: What feasts are the Israelites commanded to observe?

Mark 13:  What signs does Jesus tell us to expect before the end times?

Journal Prompt: Though we do not need to keep the Jewish feasts, write about what they represent in terms of bringing honor to God.

Answers:

Leviticus 23:  The Sabbath (this is reall ynot a feast), the feast of first fruits, the feast of weeks (Pentecost), the feast of trumpets, the Day of Atonement, (Yom Kippur), and the Feast of Booths (Taberrnacles)

Mark 13: Signs of the end times:  false messiahs will come, wars, earthquakes, famines, persecution, proclamation of the gospel to all nations, the abonimation of desolation.  When Jesus comes the sun and moon will be black, the stars will fall from the sky, the heavens will be shaken and Jesus will come in the clouds.
