Tuesday 19-November Ezekiel 46-48; Ps 132

Ezekiel 46: What will be different about the princes during the era of the new temple? What was the flow of worshiper traffic? What was in each corner of the court?

Ezekiel 47:: For what would the leaves of the trees in the new kingdom be used for?

Ezekiel 48: Who are the districts being established for?

Answers

Ezekiel 46: The worshipers would not return the way they came in. The kitchens were in the court corners.

Ezekiel 47: The leaves would be used for healing. Compare this to the last chapter of the last book of the Bible:  “Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.”

Ezekiel 48: The districts were established for the seven tribes, the Lord, the Levites the princes and for all in Jerusalem.
